Recipe for Barbecue Ribs

Ingredients:

• 2 racks of pork ribs (about 4-5 pounds)
• 1/4 cup brown sugar
• 2 tablespoons paprika
• 2 tablespoons chili powder
• 2 tablespoons garlic powder
• 1 tablespoon onion powder
• 1 tablespoon cumin
• 1 tablespoon salt
• 1 tablespoon black pepper
• 1 cup barbecue sauce
• 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar

Instructions:

1. Preheat the oven to 275°F (135°C).
2. Mix together the brown sugar, paprika, chili powder, garlic powder, onion powder, cumin, salt, and black pepper in a small bowl.
3. Remove the silver skin from the back of the ribs by gently pulling it off with a knife or your fingers.
4. Rub the spice mixture all over the ribs, making sure to cover both sides.
5. Place the ribs in a single layer on a baking sheet or in a roasting pan.
6. Cover the pan tightly with foil and bake the ribs for 3-4 hours, or until the meat is tender and pulls away from the bone easily.
7. While the ribs are cooking, make the barbecue sauce by mixing together the barbecue sauce and apple cider vinegar in a small bowl.
8. When the ribs are done cooking, remove them from the oven and increase the oven temperature to 400°F (205°C).
9. Brush the ribs with the barbecue sauce mixture and return them to the oven, uncovered
10. Finish on the bbq grill for additional 10-15 minutes, or until the sauce has caramelized and the ribs are browned and crispy.
11. Remove the ribs from the oven and let them rest for 5-10 minutes before slicing and serving.
